The Forgotten Lover

I drew this piece when feeling incredibly upset, actually. Forgotten Love is sort of a theme I am constantly running into with my work, as the idea of a neglected lover -- so perfect and beautiful, but mistreated -- seems to be the prevailing mood in my more emotional works. ... Sigh.

I don't have a scanner, so I had to use my camera to photograph the piece. Sorry for the loss of quality in the shot.

I have a ton of work in progress pictures and close ups that I will be adding to my blog later today. Just need to get them all resized and edited on photoshop really quickly.

This was all done on a Moleskine Journal with just a mechanical pencil. Total time spent is about an hour or so.f
