James Jean Art Study + Original Piece

Description

On the left, my study of a James Jean sketch. He's one of my favorite artists and I really love his lines. I did a quick recreation to understand how he layers and draws leaves + shadows + expressions. 

On the right, I created my own piece (a combination of my style + James Jean's) by memory. That is, I didn't use any references, only what I'd learned from drawing James' piece on the left.
